Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup diced pimientos
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 leaves of lettuce
- 4 slices of tomato
- 4 slices of red onion
- Pickles optional
- Cooking oil for grilling
Instructions:
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size
Add pepper and salt
Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare
You can change the time based on how done you want them
Split the burger buns in half and toast them on the grill until they're golden brown while the burgers are cooking
To make the pimiento cheese spread, put diced pimientos and mayonnaise in a bowl and mix them together
As the burgers are almost done cooking, add a lot of shredded cheddar cheese to each one and close the grill to melt the cheese
Spread the pimiento cheese mixture on the bottom bun
Then, place a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a red onion slice, and a burger patty with melted cheese on top of it
If you want, you can add pickles and then put the other half of the bun on top
Get the Pimiento Cheese Burgers out of the oven and enjoy them!
