Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup white miso paste
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
A square 8-inch baking pan should be greased and floured
Put the butter in a saucepan and melt it over low heat
Add the miso paste and mix it in well
Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit
Mix sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until everything is well mixed
Slowly add the melted butter and miso mixture to the egg mix while stirring all the time
Add the salt, cocoa powder, and flour and sift them in
Fold gently until everything is just mixed
You can add chopped nuts if you want to
Spread out the batter in the pan that has been prepared
If you stick a toothpick into the middle and it comes out with a few moist crumbs, it's done
Let the brownies cool in the pan for a while before cutting them into squares
