Baroness Nicholson to Open Health Clinic in Iraq

On the 5th August 2015, British Baroness Emma Nicholson, officially marked the start of construction of the new AMAR International Charitable Foundation's health care clinic in Mamilian Camp, Ninewa.

The camp is home to approximately 13,000 of Iraq's internally displaced persons – mostly Yazidis, but also Shabak and various other minorities who have escaped devastating violence and persecution. Many have physical injuries and deep psychological scars.

Once opened, the clinic will provide invaluable primary health care services to the whole Iraqi community. (click on picture to enlarge)
