The Manchester Mass Sleep Out
The Mass Sleep Out was held on August 24th, 2013, to raise awareness into the financial difficulties being brought on by the UK Governments "bedroom tax".

Across the United Kingdom, the Mass Sleep Out held over fifty events in towns and cities, and I took some pictures from the Manchester action, which was located outside of the Town Hall on Albert Square.

The Mass Sleep Out was backed by Manchester's Labour controlled council and was also given the support of visitors, who had taken part in the city's Gay Pride, earlier that day.

To view more pictures from the event, check out my Pinterest page where you will find them under the heading The Manchester Mass Sleep Out
