I’m really pleased to be supporting the latest campaign of The Anne Frank Trust UK, which is being launched on the 30th April with The Times newspaper.

The Thirteen in 13 campaign are inviting young people to upload a personal letter to the Prime Minister, telling him what they would like to see happening in the world.

The 13 best letters will then be presented to David Cameron and published in The Times national newspaper!

The Anne Frank Trust are also delighted the Prime Minister has agreed to respond to the winning entries in an open letter to The Times.

Thirteen in 13 will run for 6 weeks from 30th April 2013, where a panel of judges will each week be choosing their favourite two letters and those chosen writers will then each receive a Clic-Cloc watch.

Support for this exciting campaign includes some of the most popular authors for this age group, including Justin Somper, author of the popular Vampirates series and Daniel Roche, star of BBC comedy, Outnumbered.

As part of the campaign, The Anne Frank Trust are also releasing a new pack of curriculum linked teaching resources, suggesting topics for the letters and this free pack is available to download from the Learn Zone on the Trusts website.

For more information or to get involved with Thirteen in 13, you can check out the website or join the campaign on Twitter.
