Here's Tomorrow

Here's Tomorrow follows the inhabitants of the Baqa'a Refugee Camp in Jordan, which was established in 1968 to house the Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza Strip, who were fleeing their homes as a result of the Arab-Israeli six-day war.

Filmed during a two-week visit to the camp, it paints a vivid picture of life for over 120.000 residents. In the film, audiences are introduced to the people of the camp, through direct interviews, where residents talk about life in Baqa'a, raising children and their struggle for education.

Interviews also include the chairman of the Baqa'a Football Club, a local doctor who talks about the general medical situation faced by the camp's residents and the impact that poverty and displacement has had on both the physical and mental health. All interviews were conducted by Hussein Al-alak.
