On May 20th, I took part in the Manchester 10K run in aid of Combat Stress, a British based charity that is dedicated to dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder among Britain’s Military Veteran community.
For over 90 years, Combat Stress has provided a dedicated service for Veterans whose mental health condition is often complex and long term. Combat Stress delivers dedicated treatment and support to ex-Service men and women with conditions such as PTSD, depression and anxiety disorders.
These services are also provided free of charge to both the Veteran and their families. You can still help me raise money for this really worthwhile cause and you can also follow the work of Combat Stress through their website www.combatstress.org.uk
