The above video is A Day With Blinded Soldiers and Sailors at St Dunstan's, where men are taught Braille, shorthand, typewriting and cobbling. Released by British Pathe, this footage gives a historical overview to a unique charity, who for nearly one hundred years, have been supporting both blind and visually impaired veterans.

Nearly a century later, St Dunstan’s still provides care and rehabilitation for those blinded in action, but also supports blind and visually impaired ex-Service men and women, who have lost their sight through accident, illness, or old age. St Dunstan's also help those who have served in the Emergency Services and will be opening their new treatment facility
this month.
